The SetonixSynth Detectorist is a 2 HP Gate-to-Trigger-to-Gate module, designed to provide useful “duty cycle”-like behavior from any sharp rising edge input. When triggered by either the gate input jack or manual pushbutton, the Detectorist will produce an adjustable-length pulse, spanning in length from 12 milliseconds - about 85 seconds over its three ranges. If the Detectorist is re-triggered while the output is already active, the count will reset but the output will remain active without dropping to zero, thus “tying” the pulses, or producing 100% duty cycle.Features:• Converts any rising-edge pulse to a gate with three time ranges• Overall hold range of 12ms - 85 seconds• Manual gate trigger/hold button• Capable of re-triggering while output is activeDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. The SetonixSynth Marsupial is a new dual filter design based around the re-issued AS3350 filter IC, originally used in rare synths such as the Synton Syrinx, Crumar Spirit and Rhodes Chroma but never widely utilized. Normalization between the control inputs and a Series/Parallel switch makes it simple to dial in a huge variety of unique and musical filter sounds.Features:• Two low-pass/band-pass filters with selectable Series/Parallel modes• Attenuverting CV inputs for each filter stage• Controls for Global Cutoff, Resonance, and offset of second filter• Self-resonating behavior with accurate 1V/Oct trackingDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. The SetonixSynth Noise Complaint! is a passive utility module which provides a bank of four passive attenuators which can be used with audio or CV. Each of the Noise Complaint’s four inputs are normalized (left to right), so that with nothing patched to a channel’s input it can be used as an attenuated mult, distributing up to four versions of one input signal and opening up myriad control possibilities, such as use of Channel One as a Macro control over the three other outputs. Channels 1-3 also have muting switches for performance-friendliness and preservation of settings. The Noise Complaint! has proven to be a very useful module for attenuation of all kinds, and adds a nice-feeling, sturdy set of performance controls to what is often a cluttered rack full of densely-packed jacks and tiny attenuation knobs.Features:• Four passive attenuator channels, three with mute switch• Inputs normalized A-D for use as an attenuated mult and more• Sturdy, performance-friendly hardware and designDIY-Kit-Type:THT-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. Only trough-hole parts to solder. Make sure to check the build guide before you buy. The SetonixSynth/Tidbit Audio Psychedelic Voltage Processor, or PVP, is a four-channel chaos module. It uses color-changing LEDs to produce fluctuating voltages in response to the Channel input, with each channel normalized in series to create increasingly chaotic “taps” that can be used one after another for different variations.Any positive voltage input such as unipolar LFOs, envelopes, stepped voltages, or simply the onboard normalized voltage patched to a channel input is reproduced approximately on each channel output, with the PVP inducing unpredictable fluctuations due to the variable current consumed by an LED circuit with a mind of its own.Features:• Four channel LED chaos module• Input attenuator normalized to static +10V input• Inputs 2-4 normalized to preceding channel output• Glorious backlit LED panelDIY-Kit-Type:Assembled unit. This is completely ready to use, nothing to solder or to assemble.
The Solar Gravity is an analog vactrol-based VCA designed to bring the lovely response of optocouplers into the realm of clean, performance-based Eurorack VCAs. Starting with this simple concept, the Solar Gravity utilizes some neat active circuitry to significantly reduce the bleed inherent in vactrol-based VCAs and to provide the user with lots of control over the level, direction, and response of incoming control voltage.Though it’s primarily designed for use with audio signals, the Solar Gravity can also be used to control the level of CV such as envelopes or stepped voltages with a unique vactrol response through its DC-coupled input.Features:• Offset knob for manual control of initial signal gain• CV attenuator and Slew controls for maximum control• True VCA: no lowpass filtering of input signals• Very low bleed when closedDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. The Solar Voltages is a 2 HP, 2-channel Solar Cell module which outputs two separate control voltages in response to light. Each channel outputs approximately 0-5 V, with higher voltages corresponding to more intense and/or direct light. As the two channels can be manipulated with relative independence, the Solar Voltages makes for a great low-profile and multi-dimensional “light theremin” for direct and spontaneous control of two different parameters at once.Features:• Two channel 0-5 V solar panel-based light controller• Generates its own current from ambient light• Ultra-slim design• Filter caps to remove extraneous noiseDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. The Voltage Indicating Multiple is a high performance 2-channel buffered multiple with a 12-segment LED indicator for each channel that attractively shows the approximate voltage at the input and output of each channel. This custom designed, low current draw LED indicator is entirely discrete! The range is adjustable via the two rear trimmers to show a wide range of signals. Common ranges include +/-5V, +/-8V (default “factory” setting) and +/-10V. The Multiple section offers rail-to-rail performance with a <1mV offset between the input and output. These are two simple dual op-amp buffers, with each input transmitting signal to the two outputs below it. With nothing patched to the second input, the signal from the first input is normalized and its two outputs will also output the voltage present at the first Input jack. Features: • Two channel 1:2 precision buffered multiple • Can be used as 1:4 buffered multiple via normalization • 12-segment bi-polar LED bar indicators for each channel DIY-Kit-Type: SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder.
