Our Bass Kalimba Set fits for the Microphonic Soundbox mk2 and for it’s little brother, the Microphonic Playground. It has longer strips than the standard Soundbox Kalimba and therefore sounds deeper. Two of the strips are thicker than the others (1,6 mm instead of 1,2 mm) what results in a further sound variation. The holes in the strips are ment to face towards the player. You could possibly use it with single hairs of a violin bow or use steel wire to mount something onto it. It’s all about exploration.Use the included M3 countersunk screws to mount it on the Microphonic Soundbox mk2 or Microphonic Playground. You will need a TX10 (Torx) screwdriver bit.Length: 120 mmWidth: 9 mmThickness: 1,2 mm / 1,6 mm
This strips can replace the shorter standard ones of the Microphonic Soundbox and are longer, therefore sound deeper. They fit for the newer Soundbox mk2 Kalimba body, but not for the older ones with Carbon strips. Two of the strips are thicker than the others (1,6 mm instead of 1,2 mm) what results in a further sound variation. The holes in the strips are ment to face towards the player. This oscilloscope probe is specially made for Eurorack or synthesizer signals. With a 3,5mm mono TS jack, it allows an easy connection between an oscilloscope and the Eurorack system. We have set the termination resistor especially for Eurorack output level to 100K to display real values. The probe can also be manually compensated. Why should I compensate my probe?• Probes are compensated for a more linear frequency response• A poorly compensated probe can lead to measurement inaccuracies like incorrect amplitudes or distorted waveforms (rise/fall times)This Eurorack Probe has following specs:• 100 MHz bandwidth• 1x attenuation ratio• 100 k termination resistance• 70 pF ~ 120 pF input capacitance• 24 V max. voltage range• 100 cm cable lengthIncludes following items:• Probe• Adjustment tool• Marker rings• User Guide

Field Amp is LeafAudio's solution for the world of body sound transmission: recording the world with contact microphones and geophones. After releasing our Microphonic Soundbox we quickly noticed that we hit a blind spot. Many sound designers praised the clean and noise-free amplification of it, but had not necessarily use for the Soundbox itself. We heard you and developed a product on its own - the Field Amp. When you want the Soundbox amp without the actual box, Field Amp will be your new best friend! It's perfect for sound design work or musical applications in the studio, field recording, sound installations and possibly much more.Quality amplification & power management circuitry. No noise or beeping can be heard or seen in the spectrum, not even above the hearing range, which would come into focus later during sound manipulation processes. You can record with high sampling rates, transpose the audio by a lot and enjoy your pure sound. Just the clear, pristine audio you want to capture with your contact microphones.Optimised for travelling. The small unit is fully portable, light, offers many mounting possibilities. A professional case is included, which also can carry your contact mics, batteries and cables.Body sound transmission vs. airborne sound. We are used to listen to the world from our own human hearing perspective. Sound travels through air before it hits the diaphragm of our ear or a microphone. By using contact microphones you switch the hearing perspective from listening to the outside of materials to listening from within materials. This shift is a massive trick for your sound design, which you should try! There is a whole world of sound that normally keeps hidden.Field Amp is optimised for Hi-Z signals like contact mics and geophones. It also acts as an impedance converter with a powerful output signal. No loss of signal quality when you keep the wiring short between microphones and the input. The output is a strong signal and you don't have to worry about a few meters of cable. We recommend using the shielded contact microphones by LeafAudio. Generally you can try contact mics with our pre-amp, as well as geophones, hydrophones, or guitar pickups. If you want to use geophones with XLR connnector like LOM, make sure to read the manual and buy the additional special adaptor cable! We also offer adaptors for the output side, please have a look here in the shop.Features:• Low-Noise pre-amp for contact mics, geophones etc.• Case included• 9V DC power supply or battery• USB-C to barrel connector adapter cable included• Up to ~50x adjustable gain• 1 mono input• 2 mono outputs (one -12 dB)• All connections 3.5 mm (1/8") mono jack• 12 x 12 x 3.4 cm• 410 g (incl. case & USB-C to barrel cable)• 1/4"-UNC mount on top and bottom for camera tripods etc.
The FPF Fixed Passive Filter is a simple utility filter with fixed cutoff frequencies for Highpass, Lowpass and Bandpass. If you want to roll off the high frequencies or eliminate some rumble on synth sounds it does a pretty good job cleaning up signals. Geophones are omnidirectional seismic sensors to capture low-frequent vibrations. Besides detecting seismic activity, Geophones are used to capture extreme low-end for sound design, music production, field recording, foley and game sound. We offer two versions to meet your budget and your needs: Geophone S and Geophone L. Both come in a protective hard case, equipped with a magnet, steel spike, clamp and suction cup.We offer an add-on pack for both versions - it includes a variable clamp that allows the angle to be continuously adjusted to optimize their sound performance, a special woodscrew and an adapter from M4 to 1/4" universal camera mount.Geophone L has an extended frequency range and sensitivity over Geophone S.* Due to the nature of Geophones it might be possible that it picks up electromagnetic fields and interferences in some areas. Please note that the Geophone itself, and also the included magnets might have unwanted effects on credit cards, hard disks, ICDs and other devices that work on the basis of electromagnetism!Expoding Shed is only shipping to EU, UK, CH & NOR! This add-on package is specifically for Geophone L. It will NOT fit for Geophone S!It includes:• Bow holder• Special woodscrew• Adapter from M4 to 1/4" universal camera mountThe bow holder allows you to not only attach the Geophone 90° or parallel to surfaces but also in in a variable angle. It might optimize the sound performance, as due to the nature of the construction of a Geophone, it will deliver slightly different results depending on the angle. The holder features an M4 threading like the Geophone itself, means you can combine it with the magnet that comes with the Geophone. Please do not use the Geophone as screw-driver for the wood screw!PRE-ORDER: The final units will be shipped in early August. All orders including these items will be delayed until the Geophoes and add-ons finally ship!Expoding Shed is only shipping to EU, UK, CH & NOR!
